Why Personal Injury Rehabilitation Matters

Injuries can limit your day-to-day life. It causes pain and restricts your movements. It also affects the quality of your interactions and your ability to perform your duties. Rehabilitation removes this limitation, allowing you to function normally. Other reasons are:

  • Delays can worsen injuries: Postponing treatment exposes your injuries to risky movements and activities that may lead to immobility and chronic pain.
  • Rehabilitation relieves pain: Rehabilitation helps reduce the pain of the injury, which hinders your body’s natural healing process, allowing it to recover naturally.
  • Treating unknown issues: Rehabilitation professionals can detect injuries that don’t show symptoms immediately and treat them before they cause pain or discomfort.

Frequently Asked Questions

You should start as soon as possible. Receiving treatment and rehabilitation early helps you recover from your injuries more quickly because they are still fresh. If you put it off, you’ll expose your injuries to risks that can make it worse.

Definitely! Chiropractors train for years to practice spine and joint manipulation before they’re professionally licensed. They know how to treat you safely and effectively.

It depends on your injuries. If you want an accurate timeframe, consult with a chiropractor. Given your unique condition, they will know how many recovery sessions you take.

It depends on the severity of the injury. We understand that working and going about the normal course of your life is very important, but as a general rule, we recommend that you take it easy and don’t exert yourself too much while in treatment.

Most providers cover a wide range of personal injury conditions, but it’s best to coordinate with your insurance provider to find out if they cover the injuries you sustained.

What Our Patients Say

Everyone is kind, knowledgeable, caring, and understanding. I am not an easy case. I have been in chiropractic care since I was 13. I was having headaches, and my mom took me to the dentist and eye doctor, tried everything, and we ended up with the chiropractor. Years later, I learned my hips were uneven, and the S curve in my spine was not there, not scoliosis, but not how it should be. I also have TMD, which is called TMJ. Dr. Benson is treating all this and my new arthritis problems that affected my entire left leg and took the strength from my thigh muscle. My body is writhing in pain. However, he and his team are working to calm the pain and heal my body- the best part is that my insurance covers it.

Dr. Benson is absolutely the best! I took my husband to the ER in severe pain in his lower back. He could not move. They pumped him full of pain medication and sent him on his way, saying they could not help him. I called Dr. Benson's office in the ER and explained the situation. I took my husband straight to his office from the ER; he could not walk, could not sit up, and was lying out in the back seat of my truck. Dr. Benson came to my truck and helped him get out of the truck and into one of the rooms. After working on him for about 45 minutes, he could walk out with the help of crutches, and the next day, he was walking without them! My husband was back at work 4 days later after figuring out he had a pinched nerve and two more visits. I would highly recommend Dr. Benson and his entire staff to anyone looking for a chiropractor who really cares about his patients.

I had a hip replacement last year. I have been limping lately and, quite frankly, feeling crooked and having back spasms. Dr Benson and staff worked wonders the first day with massage, electric stim, and spinal adjustment. The limp was less pronounced, and my back pain was significantly lessened when I left. I know this is a work in progress, but we are on the right path forward.
