Pregnancy entails discomfort and stiffness. Fortunately, you can help ease them with Renew Spine & Rehab’s prenatal chiropractic care in Katy, Texas. Our licensed chiropractor provides personalized treatments focused on gently and safely treating the needs of pregnant women.

What Is Prenatal Chiropractic Care?

Prenatal chiropractic treatment is specifically designed for pregnant women to relieve discomfort and ease childbirth. The chiropractor uses gentle adjustments to the lower back and pelvis to restore their healthy functioning.

Why Chiropractic Care During Pregnancy Matters

Pregnancy and childbirth are physically demanding phases in a woman’s body. That’s why our maternity chiropractor in Katy commits to helping pregnant women lighten the load by giving them treatments that offer several advantages.

  • Reduces Pregnancy Discomfort: Decompress the lower back and pelvis to relieve pressure from the baby’s weight in the womb.
  • Encourages Better Fetal Positioning: Aligning the hips expands the pelvis, which makes room for the fetus to move and assume a head-down position.
  • Enhances Overall Mobility and Sleep: Gentle adjustments loosen stiff ligaments in between the spine, bringing comfort and movement flexibility.
  • Supports a Safer, Smoother Delivery: Studies show that prenatal chiropractic may help shorten labor duration and ease the process.

What Our Patients Say

Everyone is kind, knowledgeable, caring, and understanding. I am not an easy case. I have been in chiropractic care since I was 13. I was having headaches, and my mom took me to the dentist and eye doctor, tried everything, and we ended up with the chiropractor. Years later, I learned my hips were uneven, and the s curve in my spine was not there, not scoliosis, but not the way it should be. I also have TMD, which is called TMJ. Dr. Benson is treating all this and my new arthritis problems that affected my entire left leg and took the strength from my thigh muscle. My body is writhing in pain. However, he and his team are working to calm the pain and heal my body- the best part is that my insurance covers it.

Dr. Benson is absolutely the best! I took my husband to the ER in severe pain in his lower back. He could not move. They pumped him full of pain medication and sent him on his way, saying they could not help him. I called Dr. Benson's office while in the ER and explained the situation. I took my husband straight to his office from the ER; he could not walk, could not sit up, and was laid out in the back seat of my truck. Dr. Benson came out to my truck and helped to get him out of the truck and into one of the rooms. After working on him for about 45 minutes, he could walk out with the help of crutches and the next day was walking without them! My husband was back at work 4 days later after figuring out he had a pinched nerve and 2 more visits. I would highly recommend Dr. Benson and his entire staff to anyone that is looking for a chiropractor that really does care about his patients.

I had a hip replacement last year. I have been limping lately and quite frankly feeling crooked and having back spasms. Dr Benson and staff worked wonders the first day with massage, electric stim and spinal adjustment. The limp was less pronounced and my back pain was significantly lessened when I left. I know this is a work in progress but I feel we are on the right path forward.
