Benefits of Pediatric Chiropractic Care

Boosted Immune System

A gentle spine adjustment helps the nervous system function properly, leading to a robust immune response. Chiropractic care helps remove nerve obstructions that stimulate the lymphatic system, making your child less likely to have illnesses.

Better Sleep & Mood

Spinal misalignments can cause back pain and muscle tension, which makes it difficult for your child to sleep. Chiropractic care realigns the spine, releasing the pain and tension. Without pain and stiffness, your child can sleep well.

Improved Digestion & Colic Relief

Misalignments in the lumbar area of the spine can cause unease in your child’s bowel movements, causing indigestion. Chiropractic care realigns your child’s spine to keep the nerves that signal the digestive system working.

Enhanced Nervous System Function

Chiropractic adjustments release pinched nerves in affected areas of the spine. When there’s no pressure on the nerves, the brain can send signals smoothly along the nervous system. A healed nervous system helps reduce pain and inflammation in other areas of the body.

Healthier Posture & Mobility

Children also experience strain on their spine from daily activities, which leads to poor posture over time. Chiropractic adjustments, combined with posture education, help relieve strain on the spinal disc, making it easier for the spine to return to its neutral position.

What Our Patients Say

Everyone is kind, knowledgeable, caring, and understanding. I am not an easy case. I have been in chiropractic care since I was 13. I was having headaches, and my mom took me to the dentist and eye doctor, tried everything, and we ended up with the chiropractor. Years later, I learned my hips were uneven, and the s curve in my spine was not there, not scoliosis, but not the way it should be. I also have TMD, which is called TMJ. Dr. Benson is treating all this and my new arthritis problems that affected my entire left leg and took the strength from my thigh muscle. My body is writhing in pain. However, he and his team are working to calm the pain and heal my body- the best part is that my insurance covers it.

Dr. Benson is absolutely the best! I took my husband to the ER in severe pain in his lower back. He could not move. They pumped him full of pain medication and sent him on his way, saying they could not help him. I called Dr. Benson's office while in the ER and explained the situation. I took my husband straight to his office from the ER; he could not walk, could not sit up, and was laid out in the back seat of my truck. Dr. Benson came out to my truck and helped to get him out of the truck and into one of the rooms. After working on him for about 45 minutes, he could walk out with the help of crutches and the next day was walking without them! My husband was back at work 4 days later after figuring out he had a pinched nerve and 2 more visits. I would highly recommend Dr. Benson and his entire staff to anyone that is looking for a chiropractor that really does care about his patients.

I had a hip replacement last year. I have been limping lately and quite frankly feeling crooked and having back spasms. Dr Benson and staff worked wonders the first day with massage, electric stim and spinal adjustment. The limp was less pronounced and my back pain was significantly lessened when I left. I know this is a work in progress but I feel we are on the right path forward.
