Herniated Disc Treatment in Katy, TX

It may start as a mild yet persistent lower back pain. You may experience a sudden jolt when standing up or lifting something heavy. It seems like a typical sign of tiredness or aging, but it could be hiding something serious.

What you’re feeling may be due to a slipped or bulging disc, a common spinal disorder also known as a herniated disc. To prevent this condition from worsening and disrupting people’s daily work and lives, Renew Spine & Rehab offers herniated disc treatment for locals in Katy.

Why Timely Herniated Disc Treatment Matters

Untreated herniated discs can become worse over time. Depending on your lifestyle and daily activities, you may notice the pain getting more severe, affecting your movement and comfort. This eventually leads to invasive treatment approaches.

At Renew Spine & Rehab, we want to keep our patients out of the operating room. We’re here to help you find relief for your herniated disc condition as early as possible.

Common Causes of Herniated Discs in Katy, TX

A herniated disc occurs when the gel-like tissue in between your vertebrae, called the intervertebral disc, bulges out. It can also rupture, allowing the soft interior of the disc to spill out. This may be caused by lifestyle-related factors such as:
Chronic back and neck pain

Age-related disc degeneration

Sciatica and nerve pain

Improper lifting techniques or sudden strain
