Back Pain Treatment in Katy, TX

Many people in the United States experience back pain in their lifetime, and some of them learn to adapt to the pain. However, when ignoring pain becomes a common practice, mild conditions that are left untreated can progress to something severe.

Fortunately, there is back pain treatment right here in Katy that can bring comfort and mobility back into your daily life. You no longer need to ignore and silently endure your condition alone.

Why Timely Back Pain Treatment Matters

Delayed treatment for back pain can worsen symptoms. For example, a study by Dr. Anke Steinmetz found that lower back pain was a significant cause of prolonged adaptation to pain. Eventually, it leads to excessive spinal surgeries and heavy opioid medications.

Getting treatment early saves you from the more invasive ways of healing back pain. Using nonsurgical methods such as chiropractic care, physical rehabilitation, and manual therapy, you can get rid of your back pain safely and live out your years with ease.

Common Causes of Back Pain

Before getting treatments for back pain, it’s important to know that lifestyle factors, such as lack of proper exercise and excessive eating, play a role in causing mild to chronic back pain. Other factors that cause your back include the following:
Chronic back and neck pain

Poor posture or prolonged sitting/desk work

Sciatica and nerve pain

Muscle strain from lifting, sports, or repetitive activity

Herniated or bulging discs

Man with a back pain

Degenerative disc disease or arthritis
